Nigel Murphy
Executive Consultant
An Executive Consultant for Kellands (Gloucester) Limited, Nigel is a pension specialist having acquired a wealth of experience over the past 42 years. Nigel worked for three major financial institutions as a senior technical support consultant, before moving into the field of providing financial advice to both individuals and companies.
At Kellands, Nigel works very closely with his clients on a wealth management basis, where there is a clear focus and understanding of retirement needs and requirements, short, medium and long term. As a pension transfer specialist, he can also offer pension advice for those considering a transfer from a defined benefit pension scheme.
Nigel has always had a passion for racing and driving his Lotus at 90 miles per hour on track days was a common occurrence. However, now that his children have grown up and found girlfriends, Nigel has changed his pace and can be seen travelling at a more sedate 4 or 6 miles per hour on his boat which he moors at Tewkesbury marina!
Nigel is a long standing member of The Personal Finance Society (he joined way back in 1982 when it was known as the Life Insurance Association and well before it became a requirement to have a professional ethic/code of conduct).
